As part of ongoing safety reforms, the implementation of further changes to the Act were announced which outlined new Higher-Risk Buildings regulations. All these new and improved safety frameworks and legislation are being implemented following on from the post-Grenfell report in May 2018.

The Building Safety Regulator requires all existing high-risk buildings to be registered from 6^th April 2023 and no later than 1^st October 2023.
